What Are Some Medications That Are Safe For Breastfeeding Moms?

I currently have a really bad cold. I have been taking Tylenol (acetaminophin), as that is the only thing I know for sure is safe to take while breastfeeding. Does anyone know of any cold medicines that are for sure not excreted in breastmilk? My doctor is out until Tuesday……..(Labor Day weekend) and I HATE calling the nurseline at the hospital. Thank you!

See these people are giving me the run around. They are lying & saying that I can’t take anything. If that was the case then I need to sue hospital for giving me antibiotics, an epidural, and stool softeners. Then they are refusing to give me the list of meds I can take while breastfeeding. Any expericed mothers have a ny suggestions?
