What Kind Of Milk To Introduce While Weaning From Breastfeeding?

And how much? My son is now 14 months old – I planned to continue breastfeeding until he’s 18 months but would like to gradually introduce bottlefeeding. Should I go directly to 1+ formula, whole milk or start with 6-12 months formula? And how much should I give him since he seemed to be wanting a lot of bottle milk on top of his breastfeeding?

My son is 8 months old and exclusively breastfed. He also snacks throughout the day on things like Cheerios and mashed fresh fruit.
Am I supposed to be giving him “three meals a day” plus breastfeeding, or at 8 months is breastmilk alone supplying all of his nutritional needs?
