Does Breastfeeding Cause The Mother To Have A Lower Immune System?

Before I had my daughter I was never sick. I would get a slight cold every now and again but it would usually clear up after a day. Since having my daughter I have been sick twice, she is only 4 months old. Once with a very bad cold that I had for about a week and just recently a stomach bug for four days. I know that breastfeeding helps the baby to build their immune system but does it decrease the mothers? Or is it just coincidence that I have been sick since starting to bf?

I need to know how to measure the formula per ounce because the scoop is missing from the can of formula for the baby that I am babysitting. It gives you the grams in the scoop but I just need to know how much to put in a 4 ounce bottle.

I have a 3 month old baby. When she was about 1 month and 2 week I had my first regular period since birth. However, the next month I didn’t get it. I’ve been breastfeeding the whole time, and my husband and I have tried to be very careful, although there was one slip up right around the time that i could have ovulated following my period, but I’ve had 2 pregnancy tests around the time I should have started and both were negative.
