I have an 8 month old baby that I have only been breastfeeding but I want to transfer to the bottle now that I want to go back to school full time. I pumped milk and I tried offering the bottle before but he doesn’t take it, all he does is cry. How can I get him to take the bottle????

It’s difficult for me to get her on to breastfeeding because she’s already used to the bottle. I had to put her on the bottle right when she was born because i had a C-section operation and it was really hard to get her to breastfeed. And the nurses at the hospital didn’t show me much on how to breastfeed too.

I am still breastfeeding my 19-month old but would like to start the weaning process at the earliest, since I need to travel for work for 2 days in early-May.
I know she’ll be absolutely ok during the day but is in the habit of being breastfed in the night so am worried. I need help with suggestions on how to wean her smoothly. Thanks much

I just have this feeling, maybe my maternal instinct, that my daughter and I are done breastfeeding. She is 9 months old. She is so much more happy and content after a bottle, and I’ve got to admit that I’m getting tired of it (breastfeeding). I don’t love my daughter any less, I just feel like this is over. Is it bad to feel this way? Did anybody else stop because they wanted to and not because they had to?

I just finished weaning my son from breastfeeding. I was originally a 34 B now a 34 D. How long will it take for them to reduce again or do they?

I always planned on breastfeeding my daughter for at least a year. Now she is 13 months and is quite happy to continue nursing. I feel no urge to stop, but I wonder when I should? I do worry about what other people think but I don’t want that to be the reason I wean my daughter.
How did you decide when to wean your son/daughter? My daughter has shown no signs of self weaning at all. She has responded well to me slowly easing her out of her start of the day nursing. She is down to naps and bedtime nursing (3x a day total).
I want to make the decision for the right reasons, not becuase others think it is wierd or wrong to nurse a 13 month old.
Also, if you did breastfeed to an older age how did you respond to rude comments like “Are you STILL nursing?”
Note: my daughter does drink water and milk from a sippy cup . She also eats three meals and snacks in solids, very healthy foods, usually what her father and I are eating. Breastmilk is not her only source of food.

My 18-month old is still nursing, but I’m planning to be away for 4 full days in a few weeks. I will try and pump 2-3 times a day (he nurses 3 times a day), but I’m worried that my supply will suffer after 4 whole days of exclusively pumping.
I’d hate to have to stop breastfeeding just because of some trip. Has anyone had success or otherwise?
Thanks
