What are the pros and cons of breastfeeding the baby vs pumping the milk and giving it to the baby in a bottle? Some say its easier when you have it in a bottle…. How each way affects your breasts?

Before I had my daughter I was never sick. I would get a slight cold every now and again but it would usually clear up after a day. Since having my daughter I have been sick twice, she is only 4 months old. Once with a very bad cold that I had for about a week and just recently a stomach bug for four days. I know that breastfeeding helps the baby to build their immune system but does it decrease the mothers? Or is it just coincidence that I have been sick since starting to bf?

I have a newborn kitten that the mother has abandoned… I also have a baby that is 2 months old… can i give this kitten my human babys formula or does it have to be strictly kitten formula?

I have six baby baby turkeys, all have lost their egg tooth, or whatever you wish to call it, and two look like they aren’t going to make it. I have had them a few days, and lost and gained a few, and I don’t think ANY are eating, and i’ve tried the hand trick, and the flower leaves. Does anyone have any info. Should I even take a test if I missed a period? My husband and I have had sex a few times this month (unprotected) and I just had my first period since my baby was born last month. If I should have a normal period, I was suppose to start again on Friday, and didn’t. I was going to wait another week before I really started freaking out, but, how accurate are periods when you are breastfeeding?

With my 1st, I used Avent and they worked very well. My 2nd wouldn’t take any bottle. I’m going to start doing my wish list, and I want to know what the best nipple is for breastfeeding babies.

i’ve been breastfeeding for 2 months but i really would like to try the acai berry supplement, without having to stop the breastfeeding. does anyone know if it affects my baby in any way?
