What Will Happen If I Gave My Baby Formula From A Few Hours Ago?

I fixed a bottle of formula for my 5 week old about 6 hours ago and he didn’t want it so I put it down. This morning, my husband thought it was a fresh bottle that I brought in for the baby to have, and the baby drank about 2 oz of it before I came in from my shower and realized what happened! What do I do? Will the baby get sick, do you think?

No it should be ok. Next time be more careful.
your baby should be ok, if he didn’t show any sign of diarrhea or any uncomfortable tummy.
be careful next time.
when my baby didn’t finish his milk (when he just drink a little like 2 oz out of 8 oz) i will put back the milk bottle in a warmer, and gave it to him in less than 1hr. If he didn’t want it i will throw it away after 1hr.
No my husband did the same thing with my twins when they were babies–they are now healthy 3 1/2 year olds.
Good Luck!

Call your pediatrician and mention it to them. They might have some advice on what to look for IF the baby does get sick from it. Never hurts to be cautious.
I would think every thing would be fine. But it would depend if there was any bacteria growing in the milk yet
Baby will be fine. My fiance did this as well with our daughter.
