I had my baby 9 wks ago, got my period about 2 wks ago, I am strictly breastfeeding her. I am worried because I had unprotected sex with my husband and I know I should worry because anything is possible but what are the chances?

It’s possible. Many women, when breastfeeding, stop ovulating and won’t get pregnant. Some women don’t. The only way to find out is… if you get pregnant, they you didn’t stop. LOL.
Many women believe that everyone stops ovulating, it causes a lot of pregnancies. It is the reason my father is 360 DAYS younger than my uncle ;-)
I also know a lady who was pregnant at her six week checkup. It does happen…
But don’t worry. Wait a month, take a test.. start using condoms in the meantime. And, if you do get pregnant, the first year of the second child is a bit rough, but then they are the best playmates. I got pregnant when my oldest was six months and would never go back and change a thing (although it wasn’t the original plan).

The best I remember , the chances of getting pregnant while you are breast-feeding go down. Seems like women in the past were not so apt to get pregnant ,and that is why most women years ago did so, as a form of birth-control.

YOU CAN AND MOST POSSIBLE TO GET PREGNANT AFTER YOU JUST HAVE AND EXCLUSIVELY BREAST FEEDING!

The chances are a lot greater after pregnancy. I don’t exactly know how much greater but I know that it does go up quite a bit.
