What Is A Good And Inexpensive Alternative To The Bobby Breastfeeding Pillow?

I’m due in a little over 2 weeks and the only thing I really need to get a good breastfeeding pillow. All I’ve seen online is the Bobby but I don’t really want to pay $40+ dollars for a pillow that won’t get any use after 6 months. Does anyone have an suggestions for a pillow that works just as great but is cheaper? I’m even open to multitaskers or pillows that are meant for something else but work great at this as well. Thanks in advance.

I just used a regular bed pillow. (I didn’t buy a separate one, just used the pillow off the bed.) All you need is something to boost baby up a little so you dont’ have to bend over and hurt your back.

I spent the money on the Boppy, and it was well worth it!!! I used it for every feeding (so much easier than regular pillows), tummy time, and then to put around my daughter when she was just learning to sit. She wanted to be independent, and that way if she toppled the pillow caught her. I have a 2 month old boy now, and I’ll be using it for the next year again. Congrats and good luck.

You can just use a regular pillow like one from your bed or couch. Whatever is most comfortable for you! Did you get any giftcards or anything from your shower? Babies R US has 20% off one item coupons that you could use also. You could use that or if someone asks if you need anything, you could mention the boppy. It is a little pricey and so are the covers (you need at least 2) but I liked it. My daughter is 7 months old and learned to sit up with it behind her. A lot of moms use it for tummy time too. Good luck!

Regular pillows work just fine. And soon your boobs will sag, you wont even need one j/k. Just go buy 2 cheap regular pillows, and they should do the trick. You could also use pillows you have, but its easier to keep your spare pillows by where you nurse. Instead of taking them off a bed, and returning them later. Good luck!

I used to just use a big, fluffy pillow off the bed, which I bought for $10 or so. If you play around with it and find a comfortable way to arrange it, it works just as well.

    How about just a pillow?
I like the Boppy because it goes around my hips, but a pillow off the bed worked just as well.
I wouldn’t have a Boppy if someone hadn’t given it to me.

I got my boppy pillow at target for less than $40. You can get a body pillow and use that, or do like my mother in law does and just prop a bunch of sofa pillows under your arms.

You should check a store that has gently used children’s products like Once Upon a Child. You could also just use a normal pillow or 2 and stick them under the baby when you breastfeed. Good luck!

They have them at walmart for $20.
But a regular pillow will work just fine.
    I barely even used one.
