Should I even take a test if I missed a period? My husband and I have had sex a few times this month (unprotected) and I just had my first period since my baby was born last month. If I should have a normal period, I was suppose to start again on Friday, and didn’t. I was going to wait another week before I really started freaking out, but, how accurate are periods when you are breastfeeding?

Periods may not be regular at first after having a baby, but it is a myth that you can’t get pregnant while breastfeeding. It happens all the time. I would wait another week before doing anything. After that, if you are concerned, go and take a test. Best wishes either way!!
sure test.
Well this is one that you might have to go to a dr for.
Your periods will be irregular for a few months once they start again. so don’t worry there.
But you can get prego’s again if you are having unprotected sex even if you are breast feeding! so be careful if you aren’t trying to have another one so soon
it’s not a good Idea for you to have a baby so soon anyways you gotta give your body time to heal and go back to normal.
Hope everything works out the way you want it too!
Breast feeding has nothing to do with your period, or your fertility status.
It’s two completely different bodily functions and you can get pregnant again while breast feeding, and before your periods become normal after a baby.
Take a test. It’s the only way to be sure.
breastfeeding can stuff your period up a bit but considering you have had sex, i would suggest do a HPT
