Well I work in Wal-Mart in the Infant Section.
Most moms buy Huggies diapers. Huggies are what they give you in the hospital as well as Pampers. Luvs and Parents choice are two popular brands because they are a bit cheaper.
Bottles would be the Gerber bottles. More people by them. A lot of people are buying the Dr Brown bottles now because it helps with colic.
Baby Food – It depends on your baby. I would buy the Gerber brand because it’s more common. You just have to have a trial run and see what your baby wants.
Baby formula – read the brands! Tons of people will come in and ask me continuously what brand is better, usually it’s guys who aren’t with their partners. The baby formulas all explain what brand is better. Some are for fussy babies. Some are for babies who have gas problems. So on and so on.

I’ve found Pampers Swaddlers to be the best “newborn” diaper. Once my children got to size 2 diapers we went to the Pampers Baby Dry diapers. We tried both Huggies and Luvs, both were awful and leaked a lot for our children. I would also highly recommend the Pampers Sensitive wipes. The Platex Nurser bottles were my son’s favorite. My daughter is breast fed. The formula we used for my son was Enfamil Lipil and we made our own baby food but sometimes we bought the Gerber baby food.

    Pampers diapers (love the swaddlers)
Huggies wipes (thick and soft, not too wet like pampers)
Don’t waste money on fancy bottles…baby will prefer whatever you start him/her with
I breastfeed and supplemented with Isomil, but like the other posters were saying you will have to se how your baby does on the formula. I like isomil because it’s soy not cows milk.

we like seventh generation diapers and playtex vent-aire bottles. we used enfamil with lipil baby formula some (mostly breastmilk, though). although sometimes babies need different kinds based on allergies or other symptoms; you can always talk to your pediatrician for a suggestion. as for baby food, our son ate mostly organic, but then stopped eating his veggies once we began to switch to regular food; next time, i think we’re just going to mash up regular food and use mesh feeders instead. hope this helps!

i dont kno what the best is but in my experience pampers (the name brand) are great my son hardly ever got a diaper rash im prego again and plan to use the same kind. baby bottles i use evenflo they were ok. baby food i used gerber. baby formula i used enfamil with lipil the powder one evryone esle use to give my son the runs. good luck

Luvs (or pampers if you don’t mind paying a bit more), playtex drop ins, del monte baby food(less cal, sugar etc than gerber), and it depends. If your baby doesn’t have any digestive problems or allergies then definitely Similac Adv. It is closest to breast milk as you will find.
