Hi. I now know that I cannot drink orange juice while breastfeeding, and I am tired of drinking just water. What are some safe options?

I had never heard of not drinking orange juice while breastfeeding. (Just looked it up, and it doesn’t say you have to avoid it, just not to drink lots if you find it makes your baby fussy). A glass of juice in the morning with breakfast is fine.
I drink anything and everything. You should try to avoid caffeine in large quantities, but a cup of coffee, or a can of soda is fine. Again, if you find your baby is fussy, then cut back.
The only big real no-no is alcohol, and again, if you have a drink right after baby finishes nursing and don’t nurse again for 2 hours, you’re fine.

Well you can drink orange juice, just not a ton of it. But a glass of it isn’t going to upset your baby. especially if you wait a month or two. Other things you can drink are milk, other non-citrusy juices, herbal teas or other decaffeinated teas, any kind of flavored waters you can buy(just make sure they aren’t the vitamin enriched ones. You should be still taking prenatal vitamins and those will take care of your vitamin needs).
Edit: I forgot to mention, orange juice may or may not bother your baby. You just have to try it and watch. If you baby is unusually gassy a short while after nursing, then you might want to cut down on the orange juice.
