Yes it is. Buy a breast pump if you don’t have one already and pump every 2 hours or so to get your milk supply going and if that doesn’t work buy those pills and keep pumping and then eventually expose her to you breast.

Why don’t you try breastfeeding her again, it’s still the best for babies in this age group. If you want more information about these kinds of things, like caring for babies, try this site I found: http://www.PlanAFamily.com. It’s a nice looking site, with good information for mothers, free baby formula and diaper samples and other free baby related promotions.

If adoptive mothers can induce lactation to breastfeed their adoptive babies, you can most definitely relactate.
Start putting baby to your breast as often as possible, ideally every 2-3 hours. Get in contact with a certified lactation consultant or your local La Leche League for support. It will take some work, but is definitely worth it.http://www.kellymom.com/bf/supply/relact…http://www.kellymom.com/bf/adopt/relacta…

This is called relactation or induced lactation.
Go to the website below for the full description. It is not for the faint of heart, takes a lot of dedication and commitment. But so worth it!

Sure it is. It WILL take some dedication, work, and patience but it’s not entirely impossible. You should firstly get in contact with a lactation consultant in your local area. Set up a meeting with them and they should be able to guide you.

I would most definitely get a good breast pump (medela makes some good ones!) and get in touch with a lactation consultant.
I’m curious as to how you had financial problems with breastfeeding, however…

Yes it is possible, but it might take a while for you milk supply to return so you will have to supplement with formula for the first few weeks.

Yes, It’s possible, but not easy as it was 5 months ago!
Try a simple breast pump, they are quite cheap, and pump every few hours, this should start the cycle of the milk producing in your boob,.

It is very possible! In fact I have a support group for women doing the same thing on babycenter.com. I will post you a link.

Yes, I read somewhere in the Baby Magazine, there are certain tablets you get from the doctor and that would stimulate milk production. Thats why its so easy to breast feed an adopted child these days.

Hi I have expressed breast milk for my baby because he would never latch on, my milk supply is reducing more and more and even though I keep trying my baby will not latch at all. How would you get a bottle fed baby to latch on after 5 months? maybe you have some useful tips for me!! ( my baby is 6 weeks old)
