I stopped breastfeeding my son about 2 months ago and i still wake up with a wet patch on my shirt. How long should i expect this to happen?

Most women feel comfortable within about 2 weeks, but it can take months for your milk to dry up completely. There could be drops in there for up to a year (remember, the longer you were nursing, the longer it usually takes to dry up completely). Also, the slower you wean, the easier it is to dry up afterwards.
It took my sister who BF her baby 1 week to dry out. She fed him for 1 week. It took my friend who never fed her baby 4 months to dry out!
You might just need to pop pads in at night. You leak more at night because your let down reflex is weak due to you sleeping.
I’m going by my mother bc I am still b.f. but she told me she would feel let down after she stopped for up to two YEARS if she saw a child drinking a bottle or sucking a pacifier
I hope my b.m. doesn’t last that long after I stop
How long did you nurse for and how did you stop – cold turkey or gradually?
Some women can still express small amounts of milk out a year or two after stopping
