How Long Does First Period Usually Last After Done Breastfeeding?

I quit breastfeeding, and I now have my first period since after I had the baby. This is my 8th day of my period. Before, my average period would last 6-7 days.
from what i hear it can take up to 18 months after giving birth for you to return fully to your old menstrual cycle.
It’s different for everyone.
