How Can You Tell If You Are Pregnant While Breastfeeding?

I know that you can get prenant while breastfeeding, and I also know that you can get pregnant before your first period. What are some of the signs that you will have that lets you know you need to take a pg test?
I am pregnant with my 4th third while breastfeeding. I always get sick and the baby doesn’t nurse the same some times way more some times way less. You are all the sudden tireder then normal. I don’t know I took allot of HPT because I didn’t have regular periods. Take a test. Good luck!
Well, it’s hard to tell because some of the normal pregnancy signs can be masked by breastfeeding such as breast tenderness. I got pregnant while bf my second child and had not had a period yet so missed period was not a clue my symptoms were that I started producing less milk and baby seemed less interested in it. My pediatrician said that sometimes pregnancy hormones can make the milk taste funny. Other than that if you are one of those people who gets morning sickness I don’t think bf can affect that.
aside from the usual, you will probably notice a decrease in milk production and get exhausted more easily, making you shorter tempered. If you think you are pregnant while breasfeeding, it is time to start weening the first baby for your own health and happiness as well as the children.
My advice is to do a test, i was over 6 weeks pregnant and had no idea. I was still breastfeeding my 1st and at a check-up for my baby had a chat to my doc about my period only happening once and she told me i was preg and to get a test. I had twins exactly 13mths after my 1st boy was born!
It would be pretty tough to notice any real symptoms, since so many of them are also side effects of breastfeeding. I guess all you can do is test.
