I bought some baby formula over the internet and I was wondering if I can take the formula back to any store that sells it?
I ordered Soy, but I wanted Dairy.
I know Whole Foods and Babies R Us carry Earth’s Best Organic formula.

Formula can not be returned. Stores can not put the formula back on the shelves for fear it has been tampered with, in some places there are actually laws preventing them from doing this. So they simply do not accept returns on formula.
What you need to do is contact the online reseller and see if they have a return policy for formula but not likely. Donate it to a women’s shelter or Salvation Army, at least it won’t go to waste.
As long as they sell it then you should have no problem. If it is a WIC formula they require a reciept that you did not get it through WIC though.
No they will not take it back due to people messing with it. Even though it is still sealed up. Also stores won’t b/c of WIC they are afraid of people selling there formula back for money. (at least here when I used to work a kroger that was the reason we were told). My daughter was allergic to one type and I took the 22 cans of it and donated it to my churches food panty they were shocked b/c a lot of families come in and formula is a big request. If it is the cost you could maybe use it as a tax right off. But it is holidays and it would go to good at a food pantry, salvation army, women’s shelter, etc.
