It's perfectly legal and the best way for your baby to feed. But if for some you don't feel comfortable breastfeeding in public (or the baby won't be with you) you can pump there but you won't have anywhere to store the milk so be sure to pump enough before hand to feed the baby for the day and discard the rest. I know it is hard sometimes , spepcially when people is around you...but there is always a bathroom, car o private place where you can nurse your baby. If you can pump, itis a good idea, but then the milk is cold...THere is specially designed blouses that are easy to open on the side, or the wraps kind of stuff that allow you to breastfeed in public but with some privacy at the same time. I am breastfeeding my baby now and I know it is hard sometimes, but your baby deserves the best for him....congartulations and don't feel embarrased or shy about it! Otherwise, u risk the chance of losing a little of ur milk supply....not to mention the sheer discomfort of being engorged and leaking... Well, is baby going?
