Are There Any Problems Known About Getting A Tattoo While Breastfeeding?

I am almost three months into breastfeeding and I want to get a tattoo. I wasn’t sure if there were dangers associated with this that have been reported.
No problem, so long as you are going to a clean, reputable tattoo parlor.

the only thing I could think would be the most serious problem is if you get ink poisoning. You could pass that infection on to your nursing baby. Although ink poisoning doesn’t always happen often, it is a concern you should have. Why not wait until you are through breastfeeding? It should only be a couple of months, it really isn’t worth making the baby sick is it?
you should be fine, i consulted my doctor and was actually able to get a tattoo during pregnancy, the ink doesn’t seep into your blood so it won’t harm your child. tattoos usually only involve 4-5 layyers of skin so the chances of the ink reaching blood are veryyy slim
I’ve asked my doctor this while I was pregnant. Because I heard of some women getting tats while preggo. He said it was nothing to worry about since its only skin deep. While some ink does reach the blood stream its very small amounts, not enough to be concerned.
Yes, I guess you will be just fine…. Just go to a professional and clean place to have it done.

the ink goes into your skin not your body!
