How Easy Is It To Get Pregnant If You Are Breastfeeding?

I recently gave birth to a healthy baby boy and am breastfeeding. I plan to breastfeed until he is about one year. I know the hormone prolactin(released when breastfeeding) is supposed to prohibit your menstrual cycle but also know of people getting pregnant when breastfeeding. I don’t necessarily want to get pregnant again, but don’t believe in birth control, so basically, I was just wandering how easy it is to get pregnant when breastfeeding or if it is a rare circumstance that one would get pregnant when breastfeeding. Any experience or logical/factual answers would be appreciated and where information like this can be found would be appreciated too!!!

How Can I Force My Doctor To Prescribe A Baby Formula?

There is a very nice baby formula “Nutramigine” and it has worked wonders for our infany baby. However, its twice as costly as regular formulas and my insurance said that they will pay me fully if the Dr. prescribes it to my baby.
However the doctor doesnt want to, saying that my baby should be ok with any other formula as well.
Is there a way I can force the Dr to prescribe it to my baby? The other formulas are causing lot of colic/discomfort to our baby. Nutramigine suits are very fine.
