How To Care For Baby Quails (quail Chicks)…?
We found 2 baby chicks outside and we know they won’t survive on their own (no other birds are around either). How should we take care of them until they are old enough to go out on their own?

I currently have a really bad cold. I have been taking Tylenol (acetaminophin), as that is the only thing I know for sure is safe to take while breastfeeding. Does anyone know of any cold medicines that are for sure not excreted in breastmilk? My doctor is out until Tuesday……..(Labor Day weekend) and I HATE calling the nurseline at the hospital. Thank you!
If you used a pump, did you just pump less? How did you stop breastfeeding altogether?
I’m planning to breastfeed my baby and has got the recommendation to get a breast pump. How often and why do you use them when breastfeeding?
Does most formulas come by the case? Also how much formula does your newborn baby go through in about a week? So far I havent really paid much attention to the formula prices.
Best answer gets the 10 points!
If yes, please share your experience. Did your doctor initiate the discussion? Did you find it helpful? Anything you’d like to share would be appreciated.
If no, do you feel that he/she should have? Why or why not? Do you think it’s important that breastfeeding be discussed with your ob/gyn during pregancy, as it is proven to be beneficial to womens’ health?
Your thoughts, please. No debates. This is a serious question, not an invitation to argue.
Thanks!
I always planned on breastfeeding my daughter for at least a year. Now she is 13 months and is quite happy to continue nursing. I feel no urge to stop, but I wonder when I should? I do worry about what other people think but I don’t want that to be the reason I wean my daughter.
How did you decide when to wean your son/daughter? My daughter has shown no signs of self weaning at all. She has responded well to me slowly easing her out of her start of the day nursing. She is down to naps and bedtime nursing (3x a day total).
I want to make the decision for the right reasons, not becuase others think it is wierd or wrong to nurse a 13 month old.
Also, if you did breastfeed to an older age how did you respond to rude comments like “Are you STILL nursing?”
Note: my daughter does drink water and milk from a sippy cup . She also eats three meals and snacks in solids, very healthy foods, usually what her father and I are eating. Breastmilk is not her only source of food.
Some animals, right after they were born are able to look for food on their own, and take care of themselves (e.g. baby snakes) without their mother’s supervision.
Human babies, on the other hand, require complete care from their mother. They cannot take care of themselves.
I finish breastfeeding 2 months ago and I didn’t even fully breastfeed during the last 2 weeks as I never got much milk.
I still have some strange, very mild sensations in the breasts?
Thanks!
