I am due any day now and I plan on breastfeeding. I didnt have any classes on this because I didnt have time to take them. I was wondering what all foods can you eat and what all foods are you not supposed to eat. Also any suggestions or advice for me when I breastfeed? How many times a day should I do it and how do I know if he will be getting enough milk? I am going to be an at home mommy now so I wont need to worry about daycare and breastfeeding and so on. I stopped breastfeeding my 13 month old in mid January and was waiting for my period to start. 8 weeks later I had some very light bleeding/spotting for two days. I got nervous and thought maybe implantation bleeding since I had never had a period so light or short before. I had heavy normal periods after my first son was born. I just finished my first pack of pills and today started a little bit of light bleeding but not enough for more than a panty liner. It is just so odd to me because I always used to be such a heavy bleeder, bleeding through super tampons every couple hours. I’m just wondering if someone else has experienced the same and if this is normal? Most women I know got their periods back about 4 weeks after they stopped breastfeeding and the flow was heavier than normal.
