I’m a college student. I am doing a paper on breastfeeding in public. I am looking for those who are against breastfeeding in public & why, and those who are for it & why. I may use some of the responses in my paper. Please let me know if it is okay to use in my paper. Thank You.

I am trying to transition from breastfeeding to the bottle and my daughter refuses to take the bottle, I have tried different nipples and still no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions?

We’re going on holiday to California (from UK) with our 9 week old baby. We use SMA formula at home, both the powder and ready-made types. They don’t have SMA where we’re going, so would it be ok to use the local formula to save carrying loads of tins with us? Has anyone successfuly changed formula on holiday and had no upset tummy etc?

Its a bit of a vulgar question but…My wife is a little self conscious after having stopped breastfeeding last month, and I just want to know so I can give her support and reassurance.

I’m 14 weeks pregnant with my first and i’m not looking forward to breastfeeding at all. I know it’s the healthiest for the baby and a natural thing to do but I’m just afraid it’s going to hurt and be uncomfortable. I’m just curious if most of you are breastfeeding and how long you plan on doing it for? I’m only planning on doing it for 6 months at the most.

I am looking for ideas in the $50 or less range. My friend is a first time mom and is also breastfeeding so I want something to help her out a little. (I never breastfeed so I have no clue!)Any ideas?

I was breastfeeding my newborn but it was so painful I stopped. Now I would like to start up again, and I tried it, but I don’t think anything came out and there was no let down.

I’m just doing an informal poll for a project and I would like your input.
So what do you dislike most about baby formula packaging (powders or liquids, it doesn’t matter)?
Also if you want to go into more detail, which formula’s packaging do you like most and why?
Thanks!

I have helped raise my two little brothers and I have taken care of kids for many years.
My husband has never really been around kids and held a newborn baby for the first time a couple of months ago.
I found 3 childbirth DVDs that have childcare, breastfeeding, Lamaze, etc on it. Its about 6 hours on each DVD.
We were thinking about watching the interactive DVDs and reading the many baby books we bought.
If he felt uncomfortable still, then we would go to the classes.
Did you take the classes? Any advice?

I plan on breastfeeding but I would like to pump and use bottles as well so that my husband can be able to feed the baby as well. What are the best bottles to use to minimize nipple confusion?
